SO funny, I just finished this piece'o work! I was given several white skeins of 'stuff', a friend had spun up as samples so I dyed them and made Martin Storey's tea cozy featured in the Rowan Winter Warmers. I am now washing a Pitcairn fleece and was going to repeat the pattern and then saw your honeycomb! I have used that pattern on children's sweaters a lot. Great job, I love it.and I assume along with coffee you like Techno??? susan

Oddly enough, I have just come back from Swalmen in The Netherlands with an excellent teapot! I was over there to be part of the Groenewoud Team for the BAck to Back Challenge (which we won - we're world champs this year and only a little short from the world record) and was practically the only person drinking tea. Our hosts had a spare metal, self-insulated teapot which was given to me, and it's excellent.

Your teacosy, however, is quite adorable. And I coveting the swatches and yarn.

Notwithstanding the fact that the tea cosy is a beauty, I REALLY like the snapshot with the giant biscuits because it makes it look like the tea pot belongs to a Borrower. Can it be true? Or is there really a custard cream that large in your house?

Love the tea cozy (and the swatches). The pattern and coloring are perfect, and, no I cannot see the changes. It definitely announces "cozy."
I moved in the other direction with my tea brewing - from loose to bags, and from teapots to canning jars. I found with pots I kept whacking them (very small kitchen) and breaking the handles off and chipping the spout. Also got tired of washing them by hand. Canning jars go in dishwasher, or at least easier to clean by hand. Also have lids, and small footprint for the fridge and lunch bags. Yes, iced tea. Perhaps you never imbibe such. (I know it's not a universal thing.) I drink quarts of it everyday, not just a spot now and then.
That said, sigh, this is so very charming I feel I should go back to the old ways. Tea my way is not the special event that tea in cozied pot is. But the little voice in the back of my head is saying, "but how would you clean that lovely cozy?"

Tom I have a lovely little book called "A Shetland Pattern Book" given to me by an elderly neighbour who was clearing out her sisters things. Anyway, while I like looking at it, I know I am not actually going to knit anything from it so I'd like to send it to you - e-mail your address to shop@ecozee.co.uk if you'd like it.
